I've also had my tongue done but have a space between 2 of my teeth because of it, I've taken it out since then, I'll just say to anon that if they're insistent on it to get a plastic bar, I've heard that somewhat helps

Ive had my tongue pierced for 3 years and my teeth are fine, and you can only die if you go to a bad piercer or do it yourself. and trust me, tongue piercings make oral feel ammmmaaazingg.
